Common help

Account and login

Getting into your account, and what to do when you cannot.

1. Signing in

You sign in with the email address or phone number you registered, or with Google or Apple if that is how you created the account. If you are not sure which, try the email first — the app will tell you if it does not recognise it.

If you created your account with Google or Apple, there is no separate password to reset. Use the same option to sign in.

2. Verification codes

Some actions send a one-time code by email or SMS. Only the most recent code works — if you request another, the earlier one stops working immediately.

  • Check spam, and search for the sender rather than scrolling.
  • SMS can take a minute or two. Requesting three more does not make the first arrive faster.
  • If the code keeps arriving after it has expired, email us and we will look at the delivery route.

3. Changing your details

Your name, phone number and profile details are editable in the app. Changing the email address you sign in with is deliberately not self-service, because it is the route back into your account — email us and we will make the change.

4. If your account is suspended

A suspended account cannot sign in, which means the in-app help screen is out of reach. Email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will explain what happened and what, if anything, can be done about it.

Suspensions are not automatic and are not issued lightly. There is a person behind each one and you are entitled to ask why.

5. Deleting your account

You can request deletion from the app. Some records are kept afterwards where the law or a tax obligation requires it — the account deletion policy sets out exactly which and for how long.

You can't request deletion while you have an active booking, an outstanding balance, or a pending payout, so finish or resolve those first. Once you submit the request, your account is disabled immediately, the request can't be cancelled, and your personal data is deleted or anonymized 30 days later.
