Booking & payment

Cancellation policy

Cancel before the refund deadline shown in your booking. If you cannot cancel in the app, report a problem or contact support.

Refund policy

Each payment is refundable for 24 hours after payment, unless the service starts sooner. The refund period ends when the service starts.

Deposit policy

Nothing is paid to the provider automatically before your service ends. Once it ends, StrictlyByIV waits 24 hours for you to raise a problem, then pays them from your deposit, up to 50% of the total booking value; anything above that stays with StrictlyByIV and may still be refunded if plans change. You can release the full deposit sooner once the refund period ends, but released money cannot be refunded.

Balance policy

Your balance stays with StrictlyByIV until the service ends, unless you confirm completion sooner; it is then paid to the provider once its refund period has ended. Otherwise, it is paid 24 hours after the service ends if no dispute is raised.

Service policies

Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule an event must be communicated in writing as early as possible. All date changes are subject to availability and must be approved by Hanjoy Events. Additional costs arising from rescheduling, including vendor charges and price changes, will be communicated to the client. Payments already made may be subject to agreed terms and non-refundable vendor commitments.

Overtime

Our planning and coordination services cover the event hours agreed upon during booking. Any extension beyond the agreed schedule must be approved by the client and may attract additional professional fees, staff costs and vendor overtime charges. Applicable rates will be communicated and agreed upon before the event wherever reasonably possible.

Setup & teardown

Setup and teardown schedules will be agreed upon with the client and relevant vendors before the event. The client is responsible for ensuring timely venue access and compliance with venue rules. Delays in access, restricted setup hours or additional labour requirements may result in extra charges. Hanjoy Events will coordinate setup and teardown according to the services included in the confirmed booking.

Travel

Hanjoy Events accepts bookings within and outside Ondo State, subject to availability. For events outside our regular service area, transportation, accommodation where necessary, feeding and other approved travel-related expenses may be charged separately. All applicable travel costs will be discussed and agreed with the client before the booking is confirmed.

Additional fees

The quoted fee covers only the services expressly stated in the approved proposal or package. Additional services, changes to the event scope, extra staffing, transportation, accommodation, extended hours, special equipment and other unbudgeted requirements may attract additional charges. All additional costs will be communicated to the client for approval before they are incurred, except where urgent action is necessary to protect safety or prevent significant event disruption.
